SIMULATION — Project Description
SIMULATION explores the shifting line between reality and perception. The project unfolds as a constellation of images and texts that question what we call “real” and how easily certainty dissolves. It is not a narrative, but an atmospheric system — a place where truth, illusion, and reflection overlap.
AVOUT THE ARTIST
Carmelo Buffoli’s practice moves between conceptual rigor and poetic minimalism. His works function like perceptual devices: precise, reduced, and constructed to reveal how reality is filtered, fragmented, or quietly rearranged.
Rooted in decades of journals, sketches, and ink studies, his archive forms the inner architecture of SIMULATION.
Buffoli invites the viewer into a state of refined ambiguity — a space where perception is tested rather than confirmed, and where reality becomes a question rather than an answer.
